West Newbury Broadcast Assessment Survey

The Town of West Newbury Massachusetts has 2 cable franchises. One with Verizon and the other with Comcast. The Comcast agreement is up for renewal. During this renewal period, we are required to perform an assessment of needs. This survey will assist with gathering this information. We expect this survey to take between 10 to 15 minutes. It will be available on-line at http://TheToWN.tv and from http://wnewbury.org. This is the preferred method of submission. Printed copies will be available at the town offices (The 1910 Building) and the Library.

We urge you to fill this survey out on-line, to assist us with data entry.

Hello Fellow West Newbury Residents and Employees!

The Cable Advisory Committee, under the guidance of the Selectmen, has been charged with duty of managing the cable franchise renewal contract with Comcast. Our hope is to identify needs and come to an amicable resolution well ahead of the 2012 renewal date with Comcast. Our goal is to continue to have a competitive cable agreement in West Newbury so that our residents have a choice on their cable provider.

We would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to take this survey, since it will help us better understand our needs going forward. Since Local Community Access Television is new to West Newbury, we need insight from a wide audience to help ensure we address the planned needs to the best of our ability.

Thank You,
The Cable Advisory Committee.
